Nigerian Election Intelligence Platform - Architecture & Implementation Guide

System Overview

The Election Intelligence Platform is a two-tier system:

Frontend Dashboard Structure

The dashboard is organized into 9 logical sections:

Sticky filter bar with primary (Election/Type/Office/Level/Party) and secondary filters (Zone/Sort)

National Overview

4-6 stat cards showing total votes, registered voters, turnout %, candidates, parties

Election Analysis

Party performance charts (bar/pie) + geographic breakdown + historical trends

Political Stronghold Map

State-level color coding by dominant party with timeline slider (2003-2023)

Regional Performance

Drill-down from Zone → State → LGA → Ward with expandable rows

Voter Participation

Turnout analysis showing highest/lowest states and national trends

Election Winners

Top candidates displayed with medals, party badges, and vote counts

Detailed Results Table
